Stoneheart Farm was established in 1994 by John and Doreen Simmons. After 13 years of medical education and military service they landed in Maine to put down roots.  After 22 years they are well rooted in South Paris.  They started with an idle, tired farm and through years of blood, sweat and tears have transformed it into a vibrant, productive and sustainable diversified farm.  Together, they have a flock of Katahdin sheep and sell lamb throughout Portland and Western Maine. The summers are busy with hay and vegetable production.  Doreen is known for her culinary delights.  On the farm, they have discovered the secret of happiness: something to do, something to look forward to and someone to love!
